Terrapin

 
On a couple of occasions I have found a terrapin in our garden, possibly because we had a stream flowing through it. On one occasion I had to rescue one that was trapped in our swimming pool. I think this is the Marsh (or Cape) Terrrapin: Pelomedusa subrufa.

The Masai Sprite, or more appropriately the Vermilion sprite.
   

Afrixalus sp.

This probably the Natal Leaf-folding frog, or A. spinifrons. It is endemic to a small part of Natal and red listed as vulnerable
 

Sympetrum fonscolombii

The Nomad, the male has characteristic markings and a pale stripe on the thorax.
 

Ceriagrion glabrum

The Common Pond damsel or Common Citril.
